Annabel Philp has just completed her first year at Ringling College of Art and Design in the Illustration program. She was a student of Diane Heath at Stoney Creek High School and attended four years of the Art Intensive Program under the instruction of Eugene Clark. Annabel took part in two years of the sculpture program and learned human anatomy as well as how to sculpt her own characters. She has continued her education in sculpting at Ringling College by taking part in the 3D design course. Annabel has learned many skills from her professor at Ringling in building and creating characters. For her

second semester project, she conceptualized her own original characters and sculpted them out of sculpey clay. She hopes to share the skills that she has learned thus far

in her artistic career to help others to discover their passion for design and sculpture while strengthening their skills in preparation for art school.
